A Celebration of the City’s Eclectic Cuisine celebrates the local cuisine of Memphis through a Collection of Stories, Photographs, and Recipes. It can be viewed as a culinary postcard of the Bluff City, yet as a 192-page hardbound coffee table edition that presents the backstories of 28 diverse locally owned restaurants, a more accurate description may be an epicurean literary tale with a engaging cast of characters.
Author Michael Glasgow conceived this project based upon an underlying theme of Dine Local / Give Local, and consistent with such. Food brings people together.
